The pages were created by cotton fabric mostly, with felt used in the designs. I inserted pieces of plastic in between the pages to give some sound effect.
Very happy with the outcome even though not the best and neatest. But hey, first time, not bad already yeah? Hahahaha.
This book is 99% complete, just waiting for our girl's name to be on the cover page to be complete 100%. Trust me, it's uber difficult naming a human being. 4 more months!

My favourite pages of the whole book. Took me the longest.

Example of poor planning here :P. Not enough beads for no. 8-10 so I used some buttons instead.

A peek-a-boo mirror inside a pouch (left) and ribbons of different length for her to pull (right).

Hands.

Fingering.

Keep the most fun part to the last! Match the shapes! Love the sound of velcro! :P
It's really not that difficult to DIY your own baby cloth book if you know how to operate a sewing machine or some basic sewing techniques. Even if you don't know both, you can always use hot glue gun to stick everything. I like the satisfaction after completing this project and most importantly, the satisfaction of hand making a gift for our own baby to play/learn.
If that really looks like too much work for you, fret not. You can always buy ready-made cloth books for your baby. I just love DIY-ing.
