Usually when we hear the word rejection or No!, it means something unpleasant, bad or negative because that's how society portrayed to us since we were young.
I received many rejections before. Too many times to remember. Rejections from parents, friends, love, studies, society etc. Growing up, I realised that there is a positive side of rejection even though, yes, we hate the feeling of rejection.
I take rejection as a blessing in disguise, one way of directing you to a right direction and serve as protection as well.
I learnt to change my way of thinking, change of perspective and rejoice in the things that try and test me. Do not ask God why I got rejected, why is this happening to me. Instead, ask God what is His purpose and what He wants me to do.
Now that I am not working, I have a lot of free time to do what I couldn't do when I was busy working then, and I really enjoy doing them bit by bit now. Thinking back of the past mundane working days, I really thank God for the free time that I have now - more time to do the unfinished tasks. :)
Psalm 37:23-24: Though things do not always end up right, we can trust the Lord will hold us up.
